Digestion
Read the following poem and answer the questions below.

My Fate

In the mouth I go with teeth grinding me to pieces
The longer I stay a clear fluid a duct releases.
And when I am entirely crushed, my name turned to chyme,
I travel down a tube to a sac where I spend some time.
In this sac parts of me are changed from one form to another
Then I am pushed down by contractions a little further.
All of a sudden I am going around and around bend after bend
Hold on, please wait!! Parts of me are leaving again, oh when will it end?
The hardest parts of me, yes the strongest parts remain.
Thought I was free but seems I am going around some large bends again.
At this point, salts and waters are removed from my core
And I don't know what's next, I wonder what is in store
And so I have been waiting here unbothered for a while
But I am beginning to move again, oh no … a white structure is in plain sight!
