The revision brings it fully in line with the Revised Primary Curriculum (RPC) from the MOE, while still retaining many of the features that helped make this groundbreaking series popular with parents, teachers and children alike. Like the books in the original series, this new edition provides a sound introduction to science as a process and a means of acquiring skills.

The emphasis is still a hands-on, investigative approach, while incorporating the current focus on career infusion and the development of positive attitudes towards self, others, science and the environment. Students will be motivated to learn and will enjoy exploring the world of science.

FSIS Activity Books are designed to work in tandem with the Pupil's Books in helping the pupils to further explore the topics covered in the curriculum. Used together, the Pupil's Book and the Activity Book for each year foster a sound grounding in scientific concepts. However, the Activity Book can stand on its own.

I am happy to see that the project has been completed and the book is out. I haven’t seen a copy of it as yet, but I am sure all who use it will find immense satisfaction from so doing. I am proud to have been part of it. Lemuel Tull

a very good book BUT! it cannot help the student if he or she never sees it. By this I mean that our Jamaican Primary and All age student are not getting your books. I moved my children from a Prep school to a All age school and to this day they have not gotten this book, not one student has the book only the class teacher and principal. HOW CAN I GET THIS BOOK TO BUY? I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW my email is dbglass2@yahoo.com
